Adaptec Easy CD Creator Update
This information applies only to Z1, X1 and J1 units with the combo
DVD/CDRW drive
The Adaptec Easy CD Creator software that has been provided for the Z1,
X1, and J1 may in some cases not recognize the DVD/CDRW drive.
There is not a problem with the DVD/CDRW drive, or your computer. There
is a patch to fix this issue with the Adaptec Software. Follow the link
below and download this file "ecdc_v405_up.exe" to your
computer. Be sure you save it to a directory you can remember, your my
documents directory for example. Once the download is complete run the
executable program and it will update you Adaptec software so it will
recognize your DVD/CDRW drive. Insure that you have already installed
the Adaptec software before you run this update.
