Changing The Display Settings

  1. Click the Start Button, Click Settings, Click Control Panel.
  2. Double Click on the Display Icon.
  3. Click the Settings Tab.
  4. Check Colors if your Colors is NOT High Color 16Bit, Click the Drop down arrow and choose High Color 16Bit.
  5. Change your Screen Area to 1024*768 do this by dragging the arrow over to the right.
  6. Click Apply Then Click 
  7. You may get a message to Restart your unit, do so
  8. .You may also get a message "Do you want to keep these settings" Click Yes

Removing The Display Adapter Only If Changing The Display Settings Did Not Work

  1. Shut the Unit down
  2. Turn on the Unit Start Right away tapping the F8 Key.
  3. Stop Tapping the key when you see the Windows 98 Startup Menu.
  4. Use your Down Arrow Key and select number three Safemode.
  5. You will see a message Windows is running in Safemode Click OK.
  6. Right Click on the the My Computer Icon, Choose Properties.
  7. Click the Device Manager Tab.
  8. Click the Plus sign(+) next to Display Adapter.
  9. RAGE LT PRO 2X (ENGLISH) Should be listed Highlight it.
  10. Then Click the Remove Button at the bottom of the box.
  11. A Warning will Appear that your about to remove this from your computer, Click Yes then Restart and the unit should reboot. 
  12. Upon restart you will see a message Windows has found new Hardware, Windows will load the software for this device.
  13. Then the computer will prompt you to restart the computer  click OK.
  14. Once the Computer restarts your display should be OK.
