  1. Insert the PowerDVD installation disk; the install should start automatically. (If the installation does not start automatically then browse to the CD ROM and click on the SETUP icon )
  2. Click Next at the Welcome Screen.
  3. Click Yes on the License Agreement.
  4. Click Next to install PowerDVD, DirectX, and Microsoft Media Player.
  5. Type in your Name, Company Name (if desired), and the CD-Key located on the orange sticker on the front of the PowerDVD envelope. Press Next.
  6. Click Next to install PowerDVD in the default folder: C:\ProgramFiles\CyberLink\PowerDVD.
  7. Click Next to add program icons to the default folder: Cyberlink PowerDVD. Setup will copy files to your hard drive.
  8. Click Finish to complete setup. If you have Windows 2000 professional you will be prompted to restart Windows.
  9. Click Diagnostic if you would like PowerDVD to perform a diagnostic analysis of your DVD playback capabilities. If not, click Cancel.
  10. Readme.txt and WhatsNew.txt Windows will appear. Close these windows after viewing the information.
  11. Double-click the PowerDVD icon on the Desktop, or insert a DVD into the DVD-ROM drive to run PowerDVD. If the DVD does not begin to play, click the play button on the PowerDVD control panel.
