  1. Once in the computer is into Windows ME. Put a disk in the floppy drive.
  2. Double click on My Computer.
  3. Right click on Drive A,
  4. Left click on Format
  5. Click on start now. When it is done close all the windows so you are back at the desktop.
  6. Click on Start, settings, and then Control Panel.
  7. Double click on Add/Remove programs.
  8. Click on the Startup Disk tab.
  9. Click on Create Disk. The computer will then prompt you to put a disk in the drive and click on Ok. When it is complete close all windows so you are back at the desktop.
  10. Double click on My Computer, and double click on Drive A.
  11. Click on Edit and click on Select All. This will highlight all the files on the floppy disk.
  12. Hold down the Ctrl key and click once on Command. This will un-select the Command file.
  13. Press the Del key to delete all the files. The computer will ask you are you sure you want do delete the files.
  14. Click on Yes.
  15. Close all windows so you are at the desktop. You now have a bootable disk.
