  1. With the battery in the unit, plug in the A/C power and let the battery fully charge. The battery charging light will switch from amber to green once the battery is fully charged. If the battery is not charging properly, you may begin the calibration after leaving the computer plugged for 3 to 4 hours.
  2. Go to the CMOS setup program by tapping the F2 key immediately after booting the unit at rate of about twice per second.
  3. Use the Right Arrow key to go to the Exit section of the CMOS setup program.
  4. Use the Down arrow key, select Battery Calibration and press Enter.
  5. A Setup Confirmation window appears and asks, "Calibrate Your Battery Now?" Highlight the Yes with the arrow keys and press Enter.
  6. A window will appear saying, "Battery Calibration Program, Press Y to Start Calibration, N to Exit, <ESC> to Shutdown The System." Press the Y key and calibration will begin.
  7. Disconnect the AC adapter once the calibration has started.
  8. Once the calibration process has completed charge your battery until it reads 100%.
