To insert a card:
Just simply slide the card in the PCMCIA socket located on the right hand side of your computer near the back.  Either socket will work for a Type 1 or Type 2 PCMCIA card.  A Type 3 PCMCIA card must be put into the top slot.

Please note: The Z1 ships with a protective plastic card installed in the PCMCIA slots. If one is installed you will need to remove it using the directions below before you can install a PCMCIA card.

To eject a card:
There are two eject buttons located next to the sockets on the left side.  If you push in on the button, the button should pop out a little.  Now just push the button back in, and the card will eject from the slot.  Then to get the eject button back in, just simply push the button in until it clicks, and it should stay.

Please note: If the button is sticking out and you have a card installed, remove the card and press the button back in until it locks down. Then slide your PCMCIA card back in.
