NOTE: This will only work using the Video Out connection, not the S-Video port.

Solution:

Set Both the Monitor and Panel to Primary

  1. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. The Control Panel window appears.
  2. Double-click the Display icon.
  3. Click Settings at the top, and then click the Advanced button. Another display properties window will appear.
  4. Click the ATI Displays tab at the top.
  5. Click the top left corner of both the Monitor and Panel buttons. (Figure 1) The word Primary will no longer be grayed out.
  6. Click Apply and then click OK.
  7. Click OK to return to your desktop. Both displays should now work.
