This article will help you use external projection devices on the WinBook C Series notebook. Make sure to turn the computer off before connecting any external device other than USB, firewire, or PCMCIA. Setting up to use a CRT (cathode-ray tube) monitor or VGA projector: 1. Connect the monitor or projector while the computer is turned off. Setting up to use the internal LCD and a CRT or a VGA projector simultaneously in mirror mode: 1. Connect the monitor or projector while the computer is turned off. Setting up to use the internal LCD and a CRT or a VGA projector simultaneously in extended desktop mode: 1. Connect the monitor or projector while the computer is turned off. Setting up to use TV or other S-Video devices: 1. Connect the monitor or projector while the computer is turned off. Changing back to the internal LCD from any mode: 1. Right click on the desktop (where there are no icons), select Graphics
Options, select Output To, and select Notebook. Note: If you cannot see the screen: press the CTRL+ALT+F3
keys at the same time. This should bring back the display as well. |
