These steps will show you how to manually launch the program which will let you create the recovery CDs/DVD for your WinBook notebook.

  1. Once you are in Windows, click the Start button.
  2. Choose "All Programs", or "Programs" if the Start Menu is set to Classic View.
  3. Choose the "System Recovery" folder
  4. Select the "Recovery Media Creator" program.

Once your recovery DVD/CDs have been created, the program will not allow you to make a second set.

Note: The WinBook recovery CD/DVD set can be used to restore the computer to its original factory software settings. It will not create a recovery CD/DVD set with additionally installed software.
