Subject: How to install the USB 2.0 Pocket Dock in Windows XP

  1. Insert the USB 2.0 Dock CD into the CD-ROM drive.
  2. Plug the A/C adapter into the wall and then into the Pocket Dock.
  3. Plug the USB cable into the Pocket Dock.
  4. Plug the USB cable into the USB port on the computer.
  5. Windows will begin to find new hardware and install it automatically.
  6. During this installation a window will appear that looks like this:


  7. Choose the option to Install the software automatically (Recommended) and then click Next.
  8. It will begin to search the drives for the driver.
  9. A window will come up and say that the driver has not passed Window Logo testing. The window should look like this:


  10. Choose the option that says Continue Anyway.
  11. Windows will then copy the driver from the Pocket Dock CD.
  12. Once the installation is finished you will see a window that looks like this:


  13. Click the Finish button.
  14. Windows will finish installing the rest of the devices on the Pocket Dock.
  15. Once it is finished a window will appear in the lower right corner that says your hardware has been installed.
  16. You are now ready to begin using the USB 2.0 Pocket Dock on your computer.
