In addition to text, you can also attach files to a message. For instance, you might e-mail a chapter to your editor or you might send a picture of your child to grandparents. You can attach any file type. Here's how:

1. Start by creating the message, either a new message or a reply to an existing message.
2. Click the Attach button to attach a file.
3. In the Insert Attachment dialog box, select the file you want to attach and then click Attach. You can use the use drop-down list to choose another drive or folder. You can also navigate through folders using the Up One Level button.
4. The file attachment is added to the Attach text box. You can attach as many as you like. When the message is complete, click Send to send the message and attachments.
