To remove the WinBook logo in the toolbar of the IE 4.0 you need to do the following:

  1. Click on the "Start" button.
  2. Select "Run" from the menu.
  3. Type "REGEDIT" and click "OK".
  4. Click on the plus next to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER".
  5. Click on the plus next to "Software".
  6. Click on the plus next to "Microsoft".
  7. Click on the plus next to "Internet Explorer".
  8. Click on the plus next to "Toolbar".
  9. In the right hand window look for "BackBitmap". If it is there highlight it and press the "DEL" key.
  10. In the right hand windows look for "SmBrandBitmap". If it is there highlight it and press the "DEL" key.
  11. Close the Registry editor window and reboot the system.
  12. The Logos will not be there.
