To remove the WinBook logo which appears as a background on the Explorer toolbar follow the steps below.

  1. Click the Start button and then click on Run.
  2. In the Open: box, type regedit and click OK. This will open the Registry Editor.
  3. Double-click on the HKEY_CURRENT_USER registry key.
  4. Find the Software key and double-click it.
  5. Then locate the Microsoft key and double-click that key.
  6. Next, navigate to the Internet Explorer key and double-click it.
  7. Then find the Toolbar key, and double-click the key.
  8. Under Named you will see and under Data you will see "C:\progra~1\insern~1\custom\oemwall.bmp"
  9. Click on the [ab] BackBitmap value to highlight it, and then push the Del key.
  10. Click Yes on the Confirm Value Delete Dialogue box and both values will be removed.
  11. Click Registry on the menu and then click Exit to close the Registry editor
  12. Click the Start button and then click Shutdown.
  13. In the Shutdown dialogue box choose Restart and click Yes.
  14. When the unit starts the WinBook logo will no longer appear as a background in the toolbar.
