You may have already discovered that typing the main part of a URL (for example "winbookcorp" instead of "http://www.winbookcorp.com") is the easiest way to go to a website---but it's not the fastest way. The reason for this is that the browser tries all the various possible prefixes and suffixes. If you know the URL has "http://www" in the front and ".com" in the back, then type in the main part (again: "winbookcorp") and hit Ctrl+Enter. The browser will add the rest instantly. |
