1. Insert the AmbiCom wireless LAN card into the PCMCIA socket in the
side of the computer. This will bring up the Add New Hardware Wizard. 2. Insert the driver disk into the floppy drive and click Next. 3. Windows will automatically find the driver on the floppy disk. Click Next. Windows will then install the drivers. 4. Once the drivers are installed it will bring up an AmbiCom properties
window. At this window click OK. 5. The system will finish installation of the card. You should hear a double beep indicating that the computer recognizes the card. You should also see a new icon in the system tray in the lower right hand corner of the display. 6. Once the installation is complete click Finish. 7. This will bring up a window asking if you want to restart the computer now. Click Yes. NOTE: make sure you eject the floppy disk from the drive before restarting
the computer. 8. After the unit reboots and is back up into Windows right-click on the My Computer icon. 9. This will open a menu box. Click on Properties. This will open the
System Properties Window.[W1] 10. On this page click on the device manager tab in this page click on
the plus sign in front of Network adapters. 11. In here there should be a Ambicom WL1100B-PC Wireless LAN PC-Card
Now that the wireless card is installing you will need to install wireless card utility. 1.Insert the floppy disk into the A: drive.
