General Information: This WinBook Tech Article is intended to setup up a new hard drive with Windows 98. Do not attempt the below steps on a hard drive that already has Windows installed, as it may not work properly. WARNING! Restoring the Windows 98 master image will delete all data currently on your hard drive. In order to proceed you will need to following items:.
If you do not have your certificate of authenticity or the restore password do not continue with this WinBook Tech Article until you have both of them. You will not be able to install Windows until you insert these numbers.
