When trying to use Microsoft Netmeeting with Direct-X 5.0 is installed you may run into problems with 2 way audio. The most common symptom is that you can hear other people but they cannot hear you. Try not using the Direct-X drivers. Insert and set the following registry settings.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Audio\NacObject

DisableDirectSound = 01 00 00 00
