Installing MS-Fax:

In order to use Microsoft Fax you must be running Windows Messaging, Outlook and Exchange Client. Use the following instructions to add Windows Messaging and MS-Fax:

  1. Place the Windows 98 CD in the CD-ROM drive.
  2. Right Click on the CD-ROM on click on the open.
  3. Double click on tools.
  4. Double click on oldwin95.
  5. Double click on message.
  6. Double click on us.
  7. Double click on wms to install windows messaging.
  8. Then if you have Windows Messaging, Outlook 97, or Exchange Client installed on your unit, you are ready to install MS-Fax.

  9. Repeat steps 1 through 6
  10. Double click on awfax to install MS-Fax.
  11. The computer will prompt you to restart the computer. Click yes.
  12. Click on Start, Programs, Accessories, Fax, Compose new fax to run the setup wizard for MS-Fax
  13. After the wizard has been run, you are ready to send faxes.

Now MS-Fax is installed on your WinBook Computer.
