General Information: The WinBook Tech Article will provide information on reinstalling Internet Explorer 4.01 on WinBook XL units that are installed with Windows 950C. To verify if you have this version, click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, and open System. On the General page, you should have listed Microsoft Windows 95, 4.00.950 C. If it does you will need the Windows 95 CD that came with your WinBook XL and follow the procedure below.

1. Insert the Windows 95 CD into the unit
2. Click on Start and open Run
3. Type in the Open box D:\Win95\IE4Setup.exe, and click on OK

The Welcome to the Internet Explorer 4.0 Active Setup Wizard will guide you through the installation. Click on Next to begin the installation.
