General Information: Please note that in order to use the function features on the LM keyboard you must hold down the fn button to activate the function mode on the Fkeys. If you are holding the fn key down while trying to access function keys and they are not responding then continue with this WinBook Tech Article.

  1. Click on the start button, go to settings and choose the control panel.
  2. In the control panel double click on the power icon.
  3. Click on the PC-CARD MODEMS tab.
  4. There will be an option to TURN OFF PC CARD MODEMS WHILE NOT IN USE.
  5. Remove the check next to this box.
  6. Click on the ok button at the bottom of the power properties screen.
  7. Click on the start button, go to shutdown and choose to restart your computer.
  8. Click on the ok button.
  9. Then Windows reloads your function keys should now work.
