This WinBook Tech Article provides information to correct lock ups when recording with the Windows 95 Sound Record on the WinBook XP5.

1. Click on the Start button, go up to Settings and open the Control Panel.
2. Double-click on the Power Icon in the Control Panel.
3. Change the Power Management setting from Advanced to Standard. Click on Apply, and restart Windows 95.
4. Record will now work
