NOTE: You, the customer, are solely responsible for data security. WinBook strongly recommends that you perform a backup of all personal data contained on your system prior to performing this procedure. Warning: WinBook will NOT be held responsible for any data loss incurred during this process.

1. Make sure the WinBook is powered off.
2. Take off the door that covers the docking station port on the back of the WinBook.
3. Firmly place the unit on the docking station.
4. Hook power up to both the WinBook and the docking station.
5. Power on the docking station first, and then power on the WinBook.
6. The machine should boot up normally.
7. Once you have verified that the unit is powering up fine on the docking station, power the WinBook down again.
8. Hook up any external peripherals that you want and then power the WinBook back on again.

Note: The power supply on the docking station is worldwide sensing, so it will function properly anywhere in the world.
