Subject: Removing and installing the battery on the WinBook C Series notebook

  1. Shut down the unit or place it in hibernate mode. Disconnect the AC Adapter. Close the LCD panel and turn the unit upside down. The front of the unit should be toward you.


  2. Slide both release latches towards the outer edges of the unit. Note: The right release latch is a fixed position latch. This latch will remain in place when moved. The left release latch is a spring latch and will return to the locked position when released.


  3. Gently slide the battery out and away from the unit.


  4. Line up the new battery for insertion into the battery bay channel. Gently slide the battery towards the center of the unit until an audible click indicates that the latches have been secured.


  5. Reconnect the AC Adapter.
