Subject: How to Stop the N3 LCD from Flickering

  1. Boot the unit into Windows.
  2. Once everything loads click on Start, then click on Run.
  3. In the Run window type MSCONFIG then click OK. This will open the System Configuration Utility Window.
  4. In the System Configuration Utility click on the Startup tab. This will list everything that is automatically running when Windows boots. Find the entry for S3 Hotkey and click on the checkmark next to it to disable it.
  5. Then click Apply then click Close. The computer will ask if you want to restart. Click Yes.
  6. When the unit boots back up a dialog box will open stating that the System Configuration Utility is using Selective Startup. Put a check in the box that states Do not show the dialog box again and click Close.
