Subject: Reseating the RAM on a WinBook J4

1. Power the system down.
2. Once it is completely off unplug the ac power and remove the battery.
3. With all power removed from the system and the back of the unit facing you, you will see a total of 3 access panels 2 in the back and one in the front.
4. The panel in the front will have one screw on the left side. Remove the screw and the panel.
5. Once the panel is off you will see the RAM module in an off-white frame.
6. To remove the chip gently pull the side arms away from the module.
7. The module will pop up at a 45 degree angle. Gently remove the RAM module from it's socket.
8. If you want to remove the second RAM module follow the same process as listed above.
9. To install the RAM insert the Module at a 45 degree angle and push the chip down until it locks or snaps into place.
