The Z1 keyboard may rock, wobble or appear loose. The problem is usually most noticeable in the top left or bottom right corner of the keyboard.

Solution:

Although infrequent, this may occur if the keyboard becomes unseated. There are tabs along the top left and center which hold the keyboard to the chassis. To correct this problem, press down on the keyboard and push toward the LCD from left to right at these locations

  • the ESC key,
  • between the F4 and F5 keys,
  • and at the NumLock key.

NOTICE: Do not press with too much force. Press down with only enough force to reseat the keyboard.

Confirm that the case plastics between the keyboard and the LCD, where the power switch is located, are also fully seated by simply pressing down along the edges. The picture below.
