Temperature Operating; 5-35°C (41-95°F) Non-operating: -20-60°C (-4-120°F) Temperature and the battery Optimal performance: 5-35°C (41-95°F) Cold batteries may take twice as long to fully charge Humidity Operating: 0%-85% (non-condensing) Altitude Pressurized airplane cabins are not a problem for operation of your WinBook Si, although you should be aware of any restrictions that your airline might place on use of electronic devices in the cabin. Use of your WinBook Si at high altitudes (over 10,000 ft.) in the mountains, however, can lower disk drive reliability. Electromagnetic Interference The WinBook by itself should not cause any interference with other electro-magnetic devices. However, connecting the WinBook to an external device with an unshielded cable may cause interference with a nearby TV or radio. Dust Slots and openings in the system are for ventilation purposes. Do not obstruct or cover these openings or the system could overheat. Do not place the system in close proximity to a source of heat or a source of dust. |
