1. To setup a dial up connection click Start, click Settings, then click on Network and Dial-up connections.
2. This will open the Network and Dial Up Connections Window. Click on Make New Connection.
3. This will open the Welcome window. Click Next.
4. Choose dial-up to the Internet and click Next.
5. This will open the Internet Connection Wizard. At this screen click on the last option which is to set up the connection manually.
6. The connection window will open, make sure that you have the Connect Through a Phone Line option selected and click on Next.
7. Type the number you need to dial to connect to you local internet service provider (ISP). Click Next.
8. Enter your (ISP) username and password and then click Mext.
9. Type the name of your connection to the ISP and then click Next.
10. You will be asked to setup an e-mail account. Choose No and click Next.
11. This will bring you to a finished screen if you don't want to connect to the internet right away remove the check from Connect Immediately and then click Finish to close the window.
