The XLi power button has a delay of 1 to 2 seconds when it is pressed to turn the unit on. This delay requires the button to be held down firmly until the unit starts to boot or the unit may not power up. Additionally, there is a 2 to 3 second delay when trying to turn the unit off. The button must be held down until the unit turns off or it may not shut down. In both cases this delay is normal and is simply a safety feature to prevent inadvertent power or shut down of the unit. |
