  1. Power up unit and while the unit is counting the ram, press the Del key. This will take you to the AmiBIOS setup screen.
  2. Select the Power Management Setup using the down arrow key to highlight the selection and the Enter key. This will take you to the Power management screen.
  3. Pressing the PgDn key change the Power Savings mode to "Disabled".
  4. Next, using the arrow down key highlight the Suspend on low battery and using the PgDn key, set it to "Disabled".
  5. Now pressing the arrow down key go down and select the Battery Calibration line and pressing the PgDn key to enable it. This will take you to a blue screen that has a warning about contacting technical support. It is not necessary to contact us since you are using this WinBook Tech Article. Assuming that you have fully charged your battery hit Y to proceed. This will take you to a second blue screen that displays the amount of battery life left and a flashing sentence at the bottom.
  6. At this time unplug the ac adapter and allow the unit to run down until it shuts off.
  7. Once unit has shut itself off allow twenty minutes for the battery to cool down.
  8. Plug AC adapter back into unit and immediately power up. When you see the Memory counter again press the Del key once, taking you back to the AmiBIOS setup.Pressing the down arrow key select the Power management Setup and press the Enter key.
  9. Arrow down and highlight Battery Reset. Press the PgDn key this will enable it and it will again take you to a warning screen. You must not use battery reset unless you have first run battery calibration. This will take you back to the Power Management screen. You battery has now been properly calibrated and reset.
  10. At this point, using the arrow keys and the PgDn keys, re–enable your Power savings mode and the Suspend on low battery if they are not already enabled, press the Esc key once, press the F10 key once, then the Enter key. This will save your changes and reboot back into Windows.
