  4. Go down to the PM Control option by using down arrow key.
  5. Tap your + key until PM Control is set to OFF.
  6. Press the Esc key and then press the Enter key to Save Changes & Exit.
  7. The unit now will reboot into Windows 95.
  8. When the unit is done booting, click on the Start button, then click Shutdown. Choose the Restart in MS-DOS mode option.
  9. Unplug the A/C adapter from the unit.
  10. Let the unit sit at the C:\ prompt until the battery runs down.
  11. Once the unit turns off remove the battery pack from the unit.
  12. Let the unit and the battery pack cool for about 20 minutes.
  13. After 20 minutes, plug the A/C adapter into the unit.
  14. Turn the unit on without the battery pack in the unit.
  15. When the unit is done booting click on the Start button and then click on the Restart in MS-DOS mode option.
  16. Insert the battery pack into the unit while the unit is on. Let the unit sit for 5 minutes and then press the OFF button. Let unit charge for 3 hours before turning back on. Steps 2 through 15 should be done two more times for optimal performance.
