  1. Access system BIOS by pressing F2 as the computer is turning on.
  2. Press the right arrow until the Power menu is highlighted.
  3. Using the down arrow, highlight PM Control.
  4. Press the space bar until the setting changes to OFF.
  5. Press ESC and the press Enter twice.
  6. The system will save settings and restart.
  7. When windows loads, click on start and shutdown.
  8. Choose Restart in MS-Dos Mode, and click yes.
  9. Detach the AC Adapter and let computer run until the battery runs out and it powers off.
  10. Remove the battery from the computer and let it cool for about 20-30 minutes.
  11. Insert the AC Adapter and turn on the computer.
  12. Insert the battery and let it charge to 100%.

To maintain consistent usage of the battery we recommend following these steps once every 40-60 days.
