You will need the following items:

Old Toothbrush
91% Isopropyl Alcohol

CAUTION: There are two types of Isopropyl Alcohol readily available 69% and 91%. 69% has a large amount of water in it and is useless for use on computer components. Make sure you use Isopropyl Alcohol of 91% or greater alcohol content.

The following step you through cleaning your docking connectors.

1. Remove the AC power adapter from the docking station
2. Remove the laptop from the docking station.
3. Remove the battery from the laptop.
4. Take the toothbrush and dip it in the Isopropyl Alcohol (91%)
5. Scrub the connector on the docking station.
6. Next dip the toothbrush in the alcohol again.
7. Now scrub the docking connectors that are on the laptop.
8. Let the laptop and docking station sit for 30 minutes.

WARNING: Make sure that you let the alcohol dry before proceeding. Failure to do so could damage the components on your laptop.

9. Put the battery back in the laptop.
10. Plug the AC adapter back into the laptop.
11. Reconnect the laptop and the docking station
12. You have now completed cleaning your docking connectors.
