To install XP-LPT for the first time:

  6. Copy LPTLOCK to your hard drive by typing copy lptlock.com c:

Using XP-LPT when you boot:

  1. When booting your computer, if you are using Windows 3.x, exit to a DOS prompt; if you are using Windows 95 then tap your F8 key until the Windows Start Up menu appears. Then choose Command Prompt Only from the list.
  2. From the C: prompt type LPTEPP and then hit your Enter key.
  3. Type LPTLOCK and then hit your Enter key.
  4. Do not turn your unit off at this point, to keep these programs active you will need to do a "warm" boot by hitting your CTRL, ALT, and DEL keys all at the same time. This will cause your unit to reboot. Allow your computer to boot up to it's normal mode at this point.

Note: There are no guarantees on this method and it does not account for drivers that are 332 aware. Contact your device manufacturer for more information.
