Some software may require a certain amount of video memory. The amount of video memory in the WinBook V-Series notebook can be changed to 16, 32, 64, or 128 MB of RAM. To change the amount of memory allocated to the display adapter, follow the instructions below:

  1. Turn the computer off.
  2. Press the power button to turn the computer on and then tap the DEL key about once per second as the computer turns on. This will enter the BIOS setup utility.
  3. Use the right arrow key to highlight Advanced.
  4. Use the down arrow key to highlight Share Memory Size and then press Enter.
  5. Use the up and down arrow keys to select the desired size and then press Enter.
  6. Press F10 to save changes and exit.
  7. Highlight OK and then press Enter to exit the BIOS setup.
  8. The video memory has now been changed to the desired size.
