The LED panel is located below the right palm rest towards the front of the computer. The A700 Series LEDs are described as follows:

There are three lights below the LCD display. The LEDs are described as follows:

Battery Power Indicator:

  • A solid green light indicates that the notebook is operating on battery power.
  • A blinking green light indicates that the notebook is in Standby mode

Battery Charge Indicator:

  • A solid green light indicates that the battery is fully charged and the notebook is connected to AC power.
  • A solid amber light indicates that the battery is currently charging.
  • A blinking red light indicates that the battery is almost completely discharged.

Power Indicator:

  • A solid green light indicates that the notebook is operating on AC power.
  • A blinking green light indicates that the notebook is currently in Standby mode while on AC power.
