To replace the battery pack, follow these steps:

  1. Turn OFF the computer. Disconnect the AC cord remove the battery and disconnect all cables/devices attached to the notebook.
  2. Carefully turn the notebook over and lay it on a flat surface.
  3. Slide the battery security lock outward to the unlock position. (Figure 1, item 1)
  4. Slide the battery release lever outward to the unlock position and while holding it in the unlock position slide the battery pack out of the computer.

  1. Insert another battery pack into place and the battery release latch (Figure 1, item 2) will automatically engage into the locked position; the battery security lock must be manually engaged.
