To replace the battery pack, follow these steps:

1. Turn OFF the computer. Disconnect the AC cord remove the battery and disconnect all cables/devices attached to the notebook.
2. Slide both battery release latches outward to the unlock position (Figure 1 item 1)
3. Then slide the battery pack away from the notebook (Figure 1 item 2).

4. When another battery is inserted into place, the battery release latch will automatically engage into the locked position. The battery security lock must me manually engaged.
