Subject: Removing and Reinstalling the Battery in the WinBook W 8060b Notebook

  1. Shut down the unit or place it in the hibernate mode. Disconnect the AC Adapter. Close the LCD panel and turn the unit upside down. The front of the unit should be toward you.
  2. Slide the release latch towards the rear of the notebook.
  1. While holding the release latch in the unlocked position, pull the battery up and out towards you. Release the latch after the battery has been removed.
  1. Angle the new battery into the bay. The front edge of the battery should slide into the grooves of the system case. Gently press down on the battery until an audible click indicates that the latch has been secured.
  2. Reconnect the AC Adapter
