  1. Power off Computer, remove battery, disconnect AC adapter
  2. With computer on its back, with the empty battery compartment away from you, remove the cover panel in the lower right hand corner which is held in place by two screws.
  1. The wireless adapter is held in place by a spring loaded latch on either side of the adapter. Carefully spread the latches enough to release the adapter, then remove the adapter from the edge connector, taking care not to pinch or damage the two antenna wires that are attached to the adapter. (Latches are shown by arrows in graphic below).
  1. If the adapter is being completely removed or replaced, carefully unsnap the antenna wires from their connecting points.
  2. To reinstall, after re-connecting antenna wires if necessary, carefully reinsert the adapter edge connector in the socket until it is fully seated, then press downward on the card until latched, again being careful not to damage the antenna wires.
  3. Replace the cover panel, screws, battery and AC adapter and power up computer and test.
