To resolve the issue, Quicken 2000 must be Release 2 (R2) or later. To find out which version of Quicken 2000 is installed, follow these steps.
If Quicken 2000 Release 1 is installed, download and install the latest update for Quicken 2000, available from the Intuit Web site at: http://www.intuit.com/support/quicken/updates/qkn_updates_win2000.html After Quicken 2000 Release 2 (R2) or later is installed, use the following steps to disable Background Download Manager (Qagent.exe).
