Disabling the Touchpad using the Synaptics driver
Please Note: If the touchpad is disabled, then you
have to use an external mouse on the computer. If the touchpad is disabled
and there is no external mouse attached to the unit, then there will be
no pointing device. The unit will not automatically re-enable the touchpad
if there is no external mouse attached. You would have to use the keyboard
to manually navigate into the Control Panel and re-enable the touchpad. |
