Why didn't I receive any software with my keyboard? There is no special software that needs to be installed to use the Belkin ErgoBoard. Simply plug the keyboard into the PS/2 port on your computer and boot to windows. Windows will automatically detect and install support for the keyboard. I have a mouse already attached to the ps/2 port on my WinBook. Can I use the adapter that came with the keyboard to attach it to another port? No. The adapter that comes with the keyboard is a PS/2 to AT adapter and WinBook computers do not support that type of connection. If you want to plug both the keyboard and a PS/2 mouse into your computer you will need to either purchase a Y-adapter for your PS/2 port or a port replicator for your WinBook. Will the Power button on the keyboard shut my computer down properly? Yes. When you press the power button on the keyboard it will properly shut down windows and power down your computer. If you have a WinBook XL2d or XL3 the power button the the keyboard will put the computer into suspend mode. When I press the Sleep button the computer will go into suspend mode, but when I press the Wake up key nothing happens. To make the computer resume from suspend you you need to press the power button on your WinBook. Why doesn't the EZ Online light ever light up? On this model of the Belkin ErgoBoard the EZ Online light is not connected to anything and therefore will not light. Note for Windows 95 and Dos users: If you are using the Belkin Ergoboard on a machine running Windows 95 or Dos, the Power, Sleep, and Wake up keys will not function. |
